History: The Chi Phi Fraternity, as it exist today, is the outgrowth of three older organizations, each of which bore the name of Chi Phi, and all without knowledge of one another. These organizations were the Chi Phi Society, founded at the College of New Jersey (Princeton); the Chi Phi Fraternity, establised at the University of North Carolina; and the Secret Order of Chi Phi, founded at Hobart College. They eventually united to form the Nationwide Fraternity of today. Chi Phi was founded on the principles of truth, honor and personal integrity, and the Fraternity is ever striving to move forward in providing for the needs of its members while helping to communicate the possibilities of fraternity to future members.
