History: Emulating chivlaric ideas and genteel ethics, KA translates timeless philosophies inot the mainstream of our University. These Gentlemenly traits are the hallmark for men who have chosen our unique lifestyle. Kappa Alpha Order dates its heritage back to the Knights of the Crusades fighting for chivalry, Christianity, and good standard of morals, as well as regarding women with the utmost respect. The Order's Spiritual founder is Robert E. Lee, and we strive to live up to his code which is being a gentleman and striving for the best at all times. Through fellowship and brotherhood, KA seeks to teach young men to be leaders; to be brave, self reliant, and to continually strive to better themselves.
