History: The seven young men who founded Sigma Chi were not ordinary men. They were men of vision, men of courage, and men of action. They envisioned something new in fraternities. The legacy left by our founders more than 150 years ago, built upon the foundations of Friendship, Justice, and Learning has made Sigma Chi one of the largest and well-known fraternities in the nation. Sigma Chi provides opportunities in building life long bonds of brotherhood that extends much deeper than the undergraduate career. With a focus on leadership development, an emphasis on academics, service to the community, and living our core values, our brothers have become great leaders of men and contributing members of society.
